Michael R. Clark is a writer and educator from suburban Maryland.  For the last 25 years, he has taught writing, reading, and publishing to high school students.  He holds an MFA from the University of Maryland and a PhD in English from the University of Southern Mississippi.  His work has appeared in River Styx, Beloit Poetry Journal, Carolina Quarterly, and Poet Lore, and in many other publications.
